To Omorfo Tavernaki (The Beautiful Little Taverna) is located in a neoclassical building in the Old Town (Palia Poli)of Nafplio, which has been housing a taverna since 1968, in the picturesque narrow streets of the first capital of Greece. As you are wandering around the old town, you feel the warmth of the place calling you.

The interior is full of memories from Nafplio and gifts from friends from around the world. Grandfather’s old radio, a view of Acronafplia castle on the wall, the huge wine barrel in the corner, the bougainvillea which reminds everyone that spring will not be long... It is not just a taverna here; it is yet another visit to the home of a good, old friend. A friend who welcomes you with a smile, makes you feel comfortable and offers you the best food.
